R.I.P n'Tuckey

R.I.P
n'Tuckey
(11/08/2010)

She was born into a life of battery farming until we rescued her and let her be a'chicken'.

We got her at the same time as Kendra and Henrietta, but with her mad stare and overwhelming curiosity about everything we did in the garden she quickly won a placein our hearts.

Sadly after just a few months living free range in our garden she died yesterday. Itappears that she chocked as she tried to eat a slug that was too big for her. I shouldn't be surprised really as I caught her and Kendra fighting over a dead frog afew weeks ago. Chickens it seems, will eat pretty much anything.

She had got most of her feathers back and had a good life at the end.

We miss her already.

n'Tuckey in the middle on the day we got her.

Here she is checking out the food.

Chasing me for food.

Here she is at the back stealing the cats food with Kendra.
You can see how her feathers had grown back so well.
